Job Description

Experienced Service Provider Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate large-scale IP Core and Aggregation networks. The role focuses on high-availability SP environments, including BNG, CG-NAT, and traffic engineering/assurance platforms such as Juniper Paragon.

Experience with Data Center Fabric for NG-PoP environments is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and operation of IP Core and Aggregation networks in a Service Provider environment

• Engineering and lifecycle management of BNG (Broadband Network Gateway) platforms

• Deployment and operation of CG-NAT solutions at scale

• Configuration and optimization of routing protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF)

• Capacity planning, traffic optimization, and resiliency design

• Integration and usage of Juniper Paragon (JRD) for traffic engineering, visibility, and automation

• Troubleshooting complex network incidents across core, aggregation, and edge layers

• Collaboration with architecture, operations, and service teams

• Documentation of designs, configurations, and operational procedures

Required technical skills

• Strong experience in Service Provider IP networks

• Proven expertise in:

  • IP Core & Aggregation architectures

  • BNG platforms

  • CG-NAT solutions

  • Solid routing knowledge: BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS

  • Experience with Juniper routing platforms (MX, PTX, etc.)

  • Hands-on operational and troubleshooting skills in production SP networks

  • Strong understanding of high availability and scalable network design

Nice to have

• Experience with Juniper Paragon (JRD)

• Knowledge of Data Center Fabric architectures (EVPN/VXLAN, Clos, Leaf-Spine)

• Exposure to NG-PoP or Telco cloud environments

• Automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)

• Experience working in Tier-1 / Tier-2 ISP environments

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
