Job Description

We are a dynamic and expanding software development team dedicated to delivering innovative cloud-based services. As a leading device manufacturer, Hexagon offers significant potential to capture, store, transform, and stream data to a global customer base. To support our continued growth and evolution, we are seeking a talented and motivated Team Manager to join our company.

Personal Skills

• As a disciplinary supervisor, you will be supporting for administrative processes such as time and performance management as well as recruiting

• You are a role model in the implementation of our vision and mission and support your employees in living it in their daily business

• You coach your employees with regard to their personal development, their individual strengths and their potential

• You work closely with those responsible for the specialist areas and take care of long-term skills and capacity management with the responsible system architects, for example

• Together with our project managers, scrum masters and HR managers, you are dedicated to team development and support personnel development

• You keep an eye on the overall context and, together with our HR managers, work on organizational and cultural issues as well as projects

• You actively promote personal responsibility and self-organization in your area, but also across R&D; at the same time, you promote an open feedback and error learning culture

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS

• Experience in developing cloud applications 

• Comfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, deployment patterns, etc

• Knowledge of software and architectural design patterns

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing software development teams
