Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java / C# / .NET) ASAP

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and energetic individual with Java and C# experience to join the Reality Cloud Studio and GeoCloud Drive backend development team, powered by Hexagon’s Digital Reality platform - HxDR. 

Your main responsibilities 

• As a member of our team, you work on Hexagon’s cloud based Digital Reality platform, col-laborate with skilled backend and frontend developers, and continually learn to grow your skills
• You write code that handles millions of requests on a daily base
• You take responsibility and shape the backend as we grow and develop new functionality
• You support the alignment of requirements with the PO to derive high level work packages
• You code, because you love clean code, good performance, scalability and meaningful test coverage
• You stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends and use these regularly
• You like to support less experienced Software Engineers on their journey
• You have loads of fun in a great team, and be truly challenged by your colleagues

Your qualifications 

• You like taking responsibility and have professional experience developing cloud applica-tions
• Specifically with modern software and test-driven development practices, including agile methodologies
• You think about automating everything
• You are a passionate techie and have 5 years plus experience with our main tech stack (Java, spring boot)
• You have a thorough understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• You have experience applying Event-Driven architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• You are used to work in an intercultural environment 
• You freely share your opinion but value being challenged by your team members
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
