About the team

In the eCommerce & Digital team, we are building and running the digital offerings that Coloplast provide for all our Consumers and Health Care Professionals on behalf of our different departments and countries. We build on a global scale, with local addons, when it comes to our webshops, marketing sites, mobile apps or various tools for our end users, supporting our digital strategy.

About the job

 As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will lead the development and maintenance of web frontends for our CMS/Commerce websites, ensuring impactful digital services for Coloplast consumers and healthcare professionals. You will collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure features are globally applicable and technically ready for development.

Your responsibilities

•   Responsible for overall frontend related development supporting the digital roadmap for Coloplast customers on our CMS & eCommerce.

•   Set technical direction for frontend development in close collaboration other development leads.

•   Deliver working high-quality code.

•   Lead major refactorings when needed.

•   Mentor and lead other frontend developers ensuring quality of delivered solutions is according to program guidelines for frontend development, guidelines which you will help maintain.

•   Making sure the platform is optimized for perfect user experience while still being SEO and accessibility friendly.

•   Align with lead backend developers to ensure cohesion between backend and frontend on how they connect.

•   Helping troubleshoot and mitigate production issues.

•   Ensure quality of delivered features are of the highest standard.

•   Co-Owner of our Design System and the components therein – ensuring websites are in line with corporate branding guidelines and that the different building blocks can be re-used.

Requirements  

•   Able to lead the frontend development efforts for our CMS & Commerce websites

•   7+ years of general frontend development with TypeScript/Javascript, css and html using a frontend framework.

•   3+ years of vuejs experience.

•   Able to handle and keep an overview of large and complex code bases.

•   Deep understanding of web development on a global scale.

•   Experience as frontend lead on development teams.

•   Fluent in spoken and written English

•   Able to quickly understand a new domain from a commercial point of view.

•   Takes responsibility of delivered features.

•   Can delegate tasks as needed on their own.
