In the eCommerce & Digital team, we are building and running the digital offerings that Coloplast provide for all our Consumers and Health Care Professionals on behalf of our different departments and countries. We build on a global scale, with local addons, when it comes to our webshops, marketing sites, mobile apps or various tools for our end users, supporting our digital strategy.
About the job
As a Senior Developer, Backend Lead you will lead the development and maintenance of our CMS/Commerce websites and Azure-based microservice backend, ensuring impactful digital services for Coloplast consumers and healthcare professionals. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure features are globally applicable and technically ready for development.
Your responsibilities
• Responsible for overall backend related development supporting the digital roadmap for Coloplast customers on both CMS/eCommerce and Azure platforms.
• Set technical direction for backend development in close collaboration with our Architects and Technical Product Owners.
• Deliver working high-quality code.
• Lead major refactorings when needed.
• Mentor and lead other backend developers ensuring quality of delivered solutions is according to program guidelines for backend development, guidelines which you will help maintain, making sure the platform is stable, performant, scalable, resilient and secure.
• Align with lead frontend developers to ensure cohesion between backend and frontend on how they connect.
• Helping troubleshoot and mitigate production issues.
• Ensure quality of delivered features are of the highest standard.
Requirements
• Able to lead the backend development for our CMS & Commerce websites and Azure backend.
• 7+ years of backend development in C# – preferably with Azure and Optimizely CMS/Commerce as the centerpiece.
• 4+ years of experience with Azure – preferably with parts like Azure functions, Cosmos DB, Event hubs, Service bus, API management and Azure AD B2C for identity management in a microservice setup.
• 4+ years of experience with asp.net core.
• Able to handle and keep an overview of large and complex code bases.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and web development.
• Highly experienced in API development.
• Experience as lead on development teams.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development.
• Experience with the localization of websites across a diverse set of languages.
• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Able to quickly understand a new domain from a commercial point of view.
