Integrations Engineer

Coldrun is a Warsaw-based software engineering company focused on building and evolving software solutions that support real-world operational workflows.

As part of a long-term collaboration with a US technology company, we are looking for an experienced Integrations Engineer to join a team building a cloud-based platform that coordinates production, delivery logistics, and operational processes across multiple services and applications.

The platform serves organizations running demanding operational environments where reliability, system interoperability, and consistent data exchange with external services and platforms are critical.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Integrations Engineer to design, implement, and maintain seamless integrations between internal systems, third-party applications, and APIs. This role will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, ML Engineers, Product Managers, and other technical teams to ensure data flows efficiently across platforms and supports business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of integration patterns, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems and external platforms using APIs, event buses, webhooks, and middleware.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design integration architectures that meet business requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and data consistency.

• Implement best practices for API management, authentication, and security.

• Monitor integration performance and optimize for scalability and reliability.

• Document integration workflows, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

• Work with product managers to understand integration needs and deliver solutions aligned with product roadmaps.

• Support data synchronization and transformation across multiple systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.

• Proficiency in Typescript, Python, and SQL. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Hands-on experience with integration platforms or middleware.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration tools.

• Solid understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML) and security best practices.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Very good English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NestJS

• Practical knowledge of DDD and Clean Architecture

• Knowledge of enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or HRIS.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Exposure to micro-services architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Relevant certifications in integration platforms or cloud technologies.
