Right now, we’re looking for a
Database Administrator
Who will join our team in Poland
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and implementing database systems of high availability and quality,
- Administering of SQL databases, including configuration, optimization, cluster management,
- Backup and recovery, optimization, and storage management,
- Monitoring the database performance, implementing changes, and applying new patches/versions if required,
- Ensuring databases are protected from security breaches and data losses,
- Supporting the Systems Operations team.
Join us, if you:
- Have a strong command of MySQL 8,
- Have knowledge about database clusters (ideally MySQL Group Replication),
- Are skilled in optimization and performance tuning,
- Know how to secure and backup database and create a disaster recovery policy,
- Are experienced in Bash scripting,
- Have basic Linux knowledge,
- Know ProxySQL (or any other proxy tools like MySQL router of HAProxy).
Additional plus for:
- Monitoring tools: Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana,
- Experience with Python development,
- Working experience with ZFS filesystem,
- Ansible knowledge,
- Experience with Elasticsearch with Kibana,
- Interest in blockchain technology.
