Senior Java Engineer & Lead

Location: Poland (occasional visits to Warsaw)

Main Responsibilities: 

• Lead and mentor a team of developers 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions 
• Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment 
• Oversee day-to-day team operations and ensure smooth project execution 
• Set and monitor team performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance 

Technical Skills: 

Back-end Development: 

• Expertise in Java with a deep understanding of its core principles and best practices 
• Extensive experience building robust backend services using the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot  
• Proven professional background in Hibernate  
• Experience with Microservices architecture and implementation 
• Good understanding of security best practices 

Front-end Development: 

• Proficiency in one of the modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js would be a plus 

Database: 

• Solid experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch) 

Agile Methodologies: 

• Proven working experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and principles 
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment 

Communication Skills: 

• Strong communication skills in both Polish and English (written and verbal)
