About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) who thrives in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize core AWS services

• Networking & Security: Configure AWS VPCs, subnets, security groups, and transit gateways. Ensure secure communications and manage encryption keys using AWS KMS.

• Kafka Operations: Deploy and manage high-availability Kafka clusters

• Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules to ensure scalable and consistent infrastructure deployment.

• Container Orchestration: Manage Kubernetes workloads on EKS, implement service mesh solutions with Istio, and optimize container image workflows in ECR.

• CI/CD Automation: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, reliable deployments.

• Monitoring & Logging: Implement observability solutions using AWS CloudWatch and Datadog. Build robust logging and alerting frameworks to ensure system health and uptime

• Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards.

• Authorization & Auditing: enforce AuthZ policies, and ensure all external services connect via audited routes

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience with AWS services, Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), and Istio.

• Strong understanding of networking, security protocols, and CI/CD practices.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools.

• A security-first mindset with a passion for automation, scalability, and performance optimization.
