Are you an experienced R2 Architect with deep expertise in Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS DevOps? We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual to leverage their cloud and DevOps proficiency within the demanding Payments domain. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our growth, enhance system reliability, and ensure seamless transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect & Implement Scalable Solutions: Design and implement robust, scalable architecture solutions, primarily leveraging Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS DevOps principles to optimize system performance and reliability.

• Payment Systems Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment solutions, ensuring seamless transaction processing and an optimal user experience.

• Requirements Translation: Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into clear, efficient technical specifications, driving successful project execution.

• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot system issues proactively, providing timely resolutions to maintain operational continuity of critical payment infrastructure.

• Documentation & Audits: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, and conduct regular system audits to identify and implement areas for continuous improvement.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with security protocols and data protection regulations, safeguarding sensitive financial information.

• Innovation & Mentorship: Drive innovation by proposing and implementing new technologies and methodologies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Resource Optimization: Optimize resource allocation and utilization across AWS environments to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions aligned with business objectives.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

• Extensive Experience: Proven, extensive experience in Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS DevOps, demonstrating proficiency in designing and implementing complex systems.

• Payments Domain Expertise: A strong understanding of payment systems and processes, with practical experience in the Payments domain being a significant asset.

• Problem-Solving Excellence: Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Strong Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills, capable of articulating intricate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proactive & Adaptable: Show a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies, industry trends, and evolving business needs.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Required Certifications (or equivalent demonstrable experience):

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

• Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka
