About the role:

As an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with our DevOps and security teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that meets our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure and services
• Monitor and maintain cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Implement and manage networking components such as VNets, NSGs, VPNs, and Load Balancers
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and Storage Accounts
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Ensure security and compliance by managing access controls, policies, and encryption
• Perform backup and disaster recovery planning using Azure Backup and Site Recovery
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure services and resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and security engineers
• Maintain documentation for cloud configurations, procedures, and best practices
• Optimize cloud resource usage and costs using Azure Cost Management tools

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in deploying and managing Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and Storage Accounts
• Experience with Azure Networking (VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateway)
• Hands-on with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Familiarity with Azure CLI, PowerShell, and Azure Portal
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
• Automating tasks using PowerShell scripts or Azure CLI
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and release management
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Implementing Azure Security Center recommendations
• Managing Azure Key Vault for secrets and certificates
• Applying Azure Policies and Blueprints for governance
• Understanding of network security, firewalls, and identity protection
• Setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Azure resources
