The project and the team
The project involves building the front-end of a modern infrastructure management system, cloud and network monitoring.
What else you should know:
- The team consists of front-end software developers who cooperate closely with the client and QA team
- We use KANBAN or SCRUM methodology
- The client is based in Silicon Valley, US
Your role
As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Working in agile methodology and collaborating with the rest of the team (managers, UX designers, back-end developers, QA)
- Preparing a proof-of-concept and new ideas, elements, functionality, taking part in technical design discussions
- Delivering unit tests for your code
- Validating the solution with the client (demo)
- Fixing bugs efficiently and effectively
- Supporting teammates
Do we have a match?
As a Frontend Software Engineer you must meet the following criteria:
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (including latest ECMAScript specifications)
- Experience with either React or Angular (and a willingness to learn the other one)
- Experience in writing unit tests using Jasmine (Angular) / Jest (React)
- Experience working with REST API
- Good knowledge of design patterns and clean code guidelines
- Good communication skills, English (B2 level)
Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Backbone.js
- Knowledge of cloud (private, public), computer networks
