3. Team Enablement and Mentorship

  • Bootstrap ownership, standards, and tooling within domain teams.

  • Facilitate structured knowledge transfer and pair-programming sessions.

  • Support the transition of product ownership to domain teams to ensure sustainability.

4. Professional Operations

  • Manage production-grade lifecycles, ensuring data quality, lineage, and observability.

  • Monitor health, cost control, and usage of all delivered data products.

  • Adhere to strict governance and SLA standards.

Required Technical Competence

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.

• Experience from more than four larger previous assignments of mixed complexity, business areas, and implementation character.

• AWS.

• Snowflake.

• dbt.

• Witboost.

• Dreamio.

• Strong proficiency in dbt and modern ELT/ETL practices.

• Strong experience with CI/CD and automated testing in data environments.

• Experience working in Data Mesh environments.

• Experience applying DataOps principles in production environments.

• Strong understanding of data governance, data contracts, modeling patterns, and reusable golden paths.

Personal Competencies

• Strong delivery ownership mindset within a managed service context.

• Ability to operate in an output-driven delivery model.

• High technical credibility and structured problem-solving ability.
