Project Description

As the global Platform Owner, you will define the strategy, architecture, standardization, and lifecycle of Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, and Power BI services across all global regions and Business Groups. This role combines Product Ownership with Solution Architecture accountability, directly impacting 18,000 users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• M365 & Copilot Strategy: Own the global service portfolio, strategy, and roadmap. Define Copilot adoption strategies, use-case prioritization, governance, and responsible AI compliance.

• Power Platform & Power BI Governance: Manage architecture, environment strategies, and citizen development guardrails for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.

• Service Architecture & Security: Design reference architectures, integration patterns, and configuration baselines. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and legal requirements.

• Operations & L3 Support: Provide Level 3 escalation support for critical issues. Assist with platform integration/separation for Mergers & Divestitures (M&A).

• Cost & License Management: Monitor license consumption, support contract negotiations, and drive budget optimization.

Requirements (Must Have)

• 10+ years of experience in IT services.

• 7+ years in a Product Owner, Architect, or Senior Engineering role.

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 services in a global enterprise environment.

• Hands-on expertise with:

  • Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools.

  • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages).

  • Core M365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).

  • Power BI service architecture and governance.

  • Microsoft Entra ID and security integrations.

• Strong background in service design, lifecycle management, vendor/license management, and data protection.

Stakeholders & Team Ecosystem

You will act as the global point of contact, collaborating with:

• Internal: IT Leadership, Business Relationship Managers, Cybersecurity & Privacy teams, Cloud Hosting, Identity teams, and Digital Adoption.

• External: Managed Service Providers (MSP), Microsoft, and Implementation Partners.
