Senior SAP Cloud Integration Engineer

Details

• Start Date: April 1, 2026.

• Duration: 12 months.

• Customer Location: 100% remote

• Language: English B2 (Mandatory), German B1 (Nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Integration Orchestration: Design and implement complex integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (formerly CPI).

• Logic & Transformation: Develop custom logic using Groovy scripts and XSLT transformations to handle sophisticated data mapping.

• Modern Connectivity: Configure and manage API Management and Event Mesh for real-time, event-driven architectures.

• Protocol Mastery: Handle a diverse range of protocols including SOAP, REST, OData, RFC, IDOC, and JMS.

• Hybrid Landscape: Connect and synchronize data between SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party cloud environments.

• Security & Lifecycle: Implement OAuth 2.0 authentication and utilize SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for application lifecycle management and monitoring.

Requirements

• Core Expertise: Senior-level experience in SAP Integration Suite and cloud-native integration projects.

• Development: Strong command of Groovy and XML/XSLT.

• Architecture: Deep understanding of Event Mesh, API Management, and OAuth 2.0 security standards.

• SAP Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with both S/4HANA and ECC environments.

• Connectivity: Mastery of OData, REST, SOAP, and IDOC interfaces.

Nice-to-Have

• Functional knowledge of SAP business processes.

• German language skills at a B1 level or higher.
