Senior Platform Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Platform Engineer / DevOps professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. If you’re passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and Big Data, and want to play a key role in shaping large-scale data platforms — this role is for you.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot platform components,

• Automate platform configuration and deployment,

• Design and implement new features and functionalities,

• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability,

• Support other teams using the platform,

• Actively participate in discussions, planning, and refinements within the operations scrum team in the Wholesale Banking Data Management domain,

• Contribute to building highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient data ingestion solutions using technologies such as NiFi, Spark, and Cloudera CDP,

• Drive the roadmap for the client’s Google Cloud migration and adoption of object storage solutions.

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in Linux system administration,

• Hands-on experience with distributed storage and Big Data processing,

• Strong practical knowledge of Hadoop,

• Experience with Ansible and automation,

• Good understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices,

• Experience with some of the following technologies:

  • Cloudera (CDP) stack,

  • Azure DevOps,

  • OpenShift (including customer-specific implementations),

  • Google Cloud,

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift),

• Working knowledge of Python,

• Fluent English: C1/C2
