Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join a project focused on building and developing modern Android applications. The role combines hands-on development with active participation in team growth and architectural decisions.

• Location: any location within 1000 km from Ingolstadt (Germany)

• Contract type: B2B

Tasks:

• development and maintenance of Android applications

• designing and implementing application architecture (MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture)

• working with Jetpack Compose and classic UI components

• writing unit and integration tests

• active participation in planning, estimation, and code reviews

• mentoring less experienced team members

• taking responsibility for the full project lifecycle

Requirements

• at least 4–5 years of experience in Android application development

• very good knowledge of Kotlin (including Coroutines, Flow) and/or Java

• experience with Jetpack Compose and classic UI components

• good understanding of mobile application architecture (MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture)

• knowledge of Git

• experience in writing unit and integration tests

• experience with Android SDK

• experience with AIDL, AOSP – nice to have

• knowledge of JNI, C/C++, HALs, Android Automotive OS or Android Auto – will be an additional asset

• ability to mentor others and take ownership of projects

• English level minimum B2
