Junior Salesforce Developer

Duties

• Responsible for assisting in the design, development and implementation of applications that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.

• Assist in all phases of development, testing and deployment under the guidance of senior developers.

• Assist in defining, communicating, and managing a change management process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.

• Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.

• Seek out ways to utilize Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.

• Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance under the guidance of seniors.

Required Skills

• Technical education - Computer Science students or graduates are more than welcome.

• Java (or any other JVM language as Kotlin, Scala, Groovy) knowledge at Junior level.

• Basic knowledge of Git, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.

• knowledge of the Salesforce Platform.

• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks under the guidance of seniors.

• Ability to analyse complex problems 

• Understanding of Object oriented programming.

• Familiarity with good unit and integration testing practices.

• Willingness to learn Architecture style/design for enterprise applications.

• Fluency in English both written and spoken. Knowledge of German would be highly beneficial.
