• Building for Reusability: Deliver reusable components and modules that will serve as the foundation for other applications. Your work will enable seamless integration across platforms and empower other teams to construct robust applications swiftly using the building blocks you provide.
• Facilitating Onboarding: Your contributions will simplify the onboarding process for new applications, automating as many tasks as possible and ensuring a smooth integration experience.
• Ensuring Platform Security: While the platform is continuously evolving, your role will be pivotal in ensuring its security. As we transition from ad-hoc solutions to more structured ones, you’ll be at the forefront, safeguarding our systems and data.

Qualifications & tech toolbox

• 3+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with database systems (relational or NoSQL).
• Understanding of network protocols.
• Knowledge of security best practices and AuthZ/AuthN mechanisms (especially OAuth2).
• Familiarity with distributed systems architecture and principles.
• Proficiency in Linux command line operations.
• Proficiency in Git for version control.
• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Extra stardust for

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of high-quality code principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, hexagonal architecture).
• Experience with O/R mapping frameworks.
• Experience with basic shell scripting (e.g. bash).
