Your Mission
Your mission is to ensure that our feature-rich subscriber retention management software and analytics platform is of top quality, and works optimally for our partners and clients. You foster a “quality-mindset” in the organization and ensure that our product releases achieve and maintain optimal quality..
Position Overview
As Director Quality Assurance, you will lead and run a team of QA engineers and specialists. You will become part of the “Frictionless Experience Team”. That team has a continuous focus to make the business scalable through quality products, high self-service and flawless execution. Partnering with all development and delivery teams, you will build the QA strategy and roadmap, and execute it. Your objective will be to keep our product integration with clients & partners stable, bug-free and risk-free. Working very closely with the COO, CTO and other company leaders you will have a strong influence on the future success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the Cleeng Quality Assurance vision, strategy and roadmap, while ensure high quality QA engineering processes and scalability across all practices
- Lead Quality Assurance Team (currently 5 FTE), and QA partners ensuring quality deliverables of all scrum teams (currently 6 teams) and all client integration projects.
- Select or build the tools, automation, procedures, reporting and infrastructure for an outstanding quality assurance program capable of scaling with the organization.
- Manage platform risks (eg security, release go/no go, support impact, etc), define and manage controls
- Foster a world class culture in your team and beyond, that encourages collaboration, innovation, engagement and fun !
The ideal candidate should have the following Competencies:
- At least 7+ years of experience working in a similar position.
- Experience in SaaS, cloud-based platform operating internationally at scale.
- Preferable additional work experience: subscriber management, billing software, data/analytics, OTT, and/or multi-device environments (Apple, Google, etc)
- Data driven, passionate about QA automation, with vision and leadership skills ready to motivate and inspire the organization
- Strong interpersonal, relationship and management skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Deep knowledge about various testing strategies and methodologies, including test-case management, automation testing, device & browser testing, performance testing, security testing and crowdsourced testing.
- Work in a high pace, agile environment and be able to act independently.
