Location: Cracow (hybrid: 2 days/week from office)

We’re a collaborative software team focused on building scalable, secure, and user-centric products. As a EPOS Bureau Developer, you’ll go beyond writing code — taking full ownership across the software lifecycle, from idea to delivery and support. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and your team to shape features aligned with our evolving roadmap, ensuring quality, security, and maintainability at every step. Your role will involve continuous improvement, technical leadership, and a strong commitment to delivering real value to users.

Your responsibilities will include

• Building and maintaining robust, secure, and maintainable software systems — end to end. 

• Developing loosely coupled, layered software components ensuring they are replaceable, testable, and version-controlled with minimal impact on others. 

• Embracing Clean Code and SOLID principles: your code must be clear enough to be understood and extended by others quickly and safely. 

• Communicating with clarity and empathy across teams, including Support, Product, Implementation and Sales. 

• Being open to feedback and take it positively, working to resolve disagreements in a constructive way. 

• Participating in technical discussions, dailies and planning meetings, and backlog grooming. 

• Maintaining a mindset of improvement. Open-minded and solution oriented. 

• Delivering against agreed goals, staying committed and aligned with the team and manager’s chosen direction. 

• Supporting junior developers through mentoring and lead by example in both quality and attitude. 

• Handling developments, supports and production requests with professionalism, care, and accountability. Consistently demonstrates ownership and follows through to the delivery. 

• Caring about product and code quality, balances technical excellence with delivery speed. 

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years of Developer experience across these technologies 

• C# (.NET Framework 4.5 to 4.7.2, .NET Core 3.0 and .NET 7/8) 

• JavaScript, JQuery, HTML/CSS, DevExpress Components 

• Relational Databases like MSSQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite. 

• Others: Git, REST APIs, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks. 

• IDE: Visual Studio 2019/2022 

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot or Micronaut frameworks. 

• Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design. 

• Strong understanding of software design principles (SOLID, DRY or Clean Code). 

• Comfortable navigating and maintaining legacy systems when needed. 

• Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit or similar frameworks. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Experience in agile environments and working with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira). 

• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD).
