QA engineer (SAP Consultant)

CLARITY is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Consultant (SAP) to join our growing team. As a QA Consultant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our business solutions, with a focus on SAP and ERP/CRM systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute test strategies, identify issues, and support high-quality product delivery through thorough testing and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and consultants to define testing scope based on business processes and requirements.
• Design, write, and maintain test cases, scenarios, and test scripts for various types of testing (functional, system, regression, integration, performance).
• Execute end-to-end testing of business processes, simulating real-world use cases.
• Track and report on test execution progress, pass/fail rates, and defects using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Document feedback from UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions and ensure resolution of reported issues.
• Identify, investigate, log, and retest defects in collaboration with development and consulting teams.
• Ensure thorough test coverage and maintain high quality in product releases.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving functional issues in cooperation with developers and business users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; or completion of a Manual QA course.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Solid experience designing comprehensive test cases and scripts.
• Familiarity with software testing types: functional, regression, performance, API.
• Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum environments and software testing life cycle.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Nice to have:
• Familiarity with SAP systems and business management software (ERP, CRM).
• Knowledge of databases and basic SQL for data validation.
• ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA qualification.
