Your new role

Our company is seeking skilled individuals to join the Customer Portal team. As a part of this crew, you will be responsible for implementing a customer portal that will enhance our customer experience, developing a cutting-edge sales system that will take our business to the next level, and transitioning our current business solutions to advanced technologies that will streamline our operations and increase our efficiency. 

On the technical side, we work with Node.js (TypeScript) using event-based microservices architecture, using MySQL (AWS RDS), Redis (AWS ElastiCache), queue systems (AWS SQS), run from AWS ECS, while the infrastructure is created with Terraform (and others).


Job requirements


To be successful in this role you need the following:

  • At least 1 year of practical experience in leading event-driven microservices system
  • At least 5 years of experience in building backend systems
  • Practical experience and strong understanding of DDD and CQRS concepts
  • Knowledge of Node.js
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking, pragmatism, and communication skills
  • Ability to make efficient decisions, to combine technical things with business decisions
  • Focus on code quality and best practices
  • Interest in software design patterns and architecture like a modular monolith and/or microservices
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Ability to write tests (unit tests, integration tests, E2E tests)
  • Being familiar with TypeScript
  • Comfort with speaking and writing in English

  • Experience with building/working with infrastructure
  • Experience with CI/CD
