Circle K Business Center Poland is looking for a new team player, who would like to join our team as:

Junior Developer in the IT Fuel Systems Team

Junior Developer in the IT Fuel Systems Team responsible for maintenance of Circle K Fuel Applications. This role is expected to help ensuring the quality, stability, and technical integrity of Circle K’s inhouse designed and maintained fuel application as well as system integrations between applications supporting our Fuel Terminal Operations, Fuel Distribution Operations, Supply Chain Optimization, and Energy Trading. This is a junior to early-mid position focused on operational delivery, quality assurance, and continuous technical improvement in close collaboration with suppliers, developers, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a portfolio of fuel applications and fuel-specific integrations in daily operations.

• Collaborate with suppliers, developers, and project teams to deliver updates, patches, as well as modifications to existing or new integrations.

• Monitor fuel applications performance, help analyze & resolve incidents and follow up on problem resolution.

• Ensure compliance with SLAs, Circle K IT architecture, and security standards.

• Perform and coordinate testing, regression checks, and release approvals.

• Support automation, stability improvements, and operational process standardization.

• Document changes, incidents, and improvements in a clear and structured manner.

Technologies & Tools

• Programming / Scripting: .NET, Python, PySpark; SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, basic skills expected).

• Cloud / Infrastructure: AWS, Azure, Terraform, GitHub.

• Monitoring / Operations: CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, Azure Monitoring.

• Integrations: REST, SOAP, Python scripting, ETL workflows.

• Orchestration: Airflow (AWS MWAA) / Azure Databricks.

• Other: JIRA/Confluence.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in application delivery, software development, integration or DevOps (junior profiles accepted).

• Hands-on programming skills (Python, C#) and at least basic SQL familiarity

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git/GitHub)

• Interest in enterprise architecture and integration patterns.

• Ability to structure tasks, follow up with vendors, and communicate clearly.

• Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and comfort working across multiple systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented approach.

Optional Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS).

• Basic familiarity with containerized deployments (e.g. Docker).

• Experience with cloud monitoring, incident handling, or release management.

• Understanding of integration flows and data processing pipelines.

• Familiarity with automation tools and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
