Are you a hands-on QA expert who thrives in technically complex environments? We’re looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team in Krakow, driving quality across a large-scale monolithic platform within the financial services domain.

The Role:

As Lead QA Engineer, you’ll guide and coordinate the work of 5–6 test engineers across multiple teams. You’ll be deeply involved in test strategy, planning, release readiness, and technical improvements — while remaining highly hands-on with automation, tooling, and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate testing activities across 3 teams

Guide release planning, capacity, and timelines

Own and evolve automation frameworks (UI, API, functional)

Hands-on work with Oracle DB, logs, and test tooling

Identify and drive enhancements in existing test architecture

Foster a strong, collaborative QA culture within set team processes

You’ll Need (QA Lead):

10+ years in QA/Testing, with strong automation experience

Prior experience leading QA teams (not people management)

Deep hands-on skills with automation frameworks, ideally building from scratch

Proficiency in Oracle databases, reading logs, debugging

A strong, assertive personality to influence and drive quality in an established environment

Out-of-the-box thinking with a proactive approach to improving testing on a monolith.

You'll Need (QA Engineer):

5–7 years in test automation

Strong coding skills (C#)

Deep experience with API testing

Knowledge of performance testing, especially in database-heavy environments

Experience working in high-velocity engineering environments

Self-driven, curious, and delivery-focused
