Data Engineer

Data Engineer Remote Contract Position-

• Client: Global award-winning network monitoring software company
• Location: Fully remote
• Type: Contract
• Pay rate: up to 1800PLN a day
• Duration: 6 months rolling (with substantial project pipeline)

Technical Requirements

• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Understanding of data lake concepts and Snowflake
• Optimising time series data 
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies including Golang and Rust

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable data platform
• Develop and maintain data pipelines within a microservices architecture
• Implement data processing workflows in AWS environment
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Contribute to technical evolution of our platform

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and analysis
• Experience with AWS services
• Understanding of data lake concepts and Snowflake
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Openness to learning new technologies (Golang, Rust)

Desirable Skills

• Experience with time series data platforms
• Background in observability platforms
• Knowledge of network systems and monitoring
