Job description

Senior Back-End .NET Engineer – Repo Trading Platform | B2B | Warsaw (Hybrid)

Are you a passionate back-end engineer with deep .NET expertise and a love for building scalable trading platforms? Join a high-impact team working on a greenfield repo trading initiative at the intersection of rates and credit.

This is a backend-only role focused on microservices, cloud-native architecture, and direct collaboration with traders and credit teams. You'll be part of a strategic build-out using modern tech and agile practices.

Key Highlights:

  • Tech Stack: C#/.NET 8, AWS, Docker (Kubernetes roadmap), REST APIs, microservices

  • Domain: Repo trading, credit integration, fixed income workflows

  • Environment: Collaborative team, direct trader exposure, hands-on BAs

  • Location: Warsaw-based, hybrid (negotiable)

  • Contract: 12-month rolling, part of a 2-year strategic project

  • Pay: Up to 1700 PLN per day

  • Interview Process: 2 stages

  • Mostly remote position - only a few days per month in office

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Building and scaling a repo trading platform with 50–60 microservices per project

  • Integrating new markets and asset types

  • Collaborating with traders and credit teams to shape workflows

  • Contributing to architectural decisions and CI/CD pipelines

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience with C#/.NET (ideally v8)

  • Solid understanding of async programming, multithreading, and distributed systems

  • Experience with cloud (ideally AWS) and containerisation (Docker; Kubernetes a plus)

  • Exposure to financial platforms or trading systems preferred

This is a rare opportunity to work on a greenfield platform with direct business impact, modern tech, and a collaborative team culture. If you're ready to shape the future of repo trading, we’d love to hear from you.
