ServiceNow Consultant (ITSM & ITOM)
Key Responsibilities
Act as a client-facing consultant, delivering ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM solutions aligned with business goals and enterprise IT strategies
Engage with clients to understand long-term enterprise objectives and how ServiceNow capabilities fit within their broader application ecosystem
Design and deliver scalable, repeatable ServiceNow solutions with a focus on performance, maintainability, and platform best practices
Create technical blueprints and solution architectures for ITSM and ITOM implementations, including Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, and Event Management
Lead workshops and working sessions to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow configurations
Collaborate with cross-functional client teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to align solution delivery with strategic priorities
Ensure all ITSM and ITOM solutions meet customer needs by applying ServiceNow standards and industry best practices
Mentor and support junior consultants and client team members on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM/ITOM modeling and architecture
Identify opportunities for platform improvement and innovation, proactively recommending enhancements and process optimizations
Required Skills and Experience
Proven hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Consultant or Developer with a focus on both ITSM and ITOM
Deep technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including configuration and integration capabilities
Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical solutions
Strong understanding of ITIL principles and service management frameworks
Expertise in ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Discovery, and CMDB
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM, ITOM, or related areas
Hands-on experience with Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, or Service Mapping
Experience with JavaScript and REST/SOAP integrations
Background working in Agile environments
