YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Data Center Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our WAN and data center network infrastructure. You will be responsible for L3-level incident management, troubleshooting complex networking issues, and ensuring seamless operations beyond Tier 2 support. Your expertise will drive network performance, capacity planning, and lifecycle management, including software and hardware upgrades. Additionally, you will contribute to project implementations, post-go-live support, and process improvements through automation and DevOps practices. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, and a proactive approach to network reliability and security. YOUR TASKS

• Provide L3-level incident management, troubleshooting complex network issues beyond help desk and Tier 2 support.
• Support project implementation and post-go-live activities, including issue resolution.
• Execute change management processes, ensuring smooth deployments.
• Investigate root causes of network problems and implement corrective measures.
• Monitor network performance & capacity, proactively addressing potential issues.
• Manage software and hardware upgrades as part of lifecycle management.
• Maintain and improve internal documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and DevOps working groups.

YOUR PROFILE

• Couple years of experience in WAN infrastructure and/or ISP environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing, IPSEC, and DMVPN.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices (routers, switches, data center fabric).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco network operating systems (NXOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR).
• Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, AWX).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Git, GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Very good English (minimum B2)

Nice to have:

• Certification in Service Provider Network or Data Center fields.
• Experience working in sovereign environments (e.g., public sector or regulated industries).
