As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects within enterprise organizations. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, manage their expectations, budgets, timelines, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. Your role requires a deep understanding of software development processes, excellent organizational and consultancy skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

As a Senior IT Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Understanding key project objectives and stakeholders’ expectations.
• Leading project planning sessions and set clear objectives and priorities for the project team.
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
• Managing project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial goals.
• Tracking and reporting project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
• Managing the relationship with the client and ensure stakeholders’ alignment.
• Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
• Monitoring and maintaining project team satisfaction and wellbeing.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Introducing and promoting best practices related to project governance at Callstack and within the client’s organization.
• Continuously improving processes and look for optimization of repetitive tasks.
• Being flexible to work in afternoon/evening hours occasionally.
• Taking part in onsite meetings with project stakeholders in the USA and Europe.

Requirements

You are the right candidate if you have:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly software development projects.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and mobile technologies.
• Scrum, Agile, SAFe, or relevant certification is preferred, but not a must.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up the sleeves to get the job done.
• Proven experience in process optimization and change management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with project management software tools, such as JIRA, ADO, Confluence, Notion, etc.
• Experience managing distributed teams (onshore and offshore).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team and take ownership.
