We’re looking for a Solution Architect with Snowflake - Team Lead experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and optimizing data solutions while leading and mentoring a small team of data engineers. You’ll drive the architecture of end-to-end data solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.

📝 You will be responsible for:

• Design and Architect Data Solutions using Snowflake, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Guide the team in creating efficient, high-performance data pipelines, using Snowflake, dbt, and other tools.
• Develop and manage dbt models, including the ability to write, parameterize, and deploy models that align with architectural design.
• Oversee data flow concepts and data modeling best practices, ensuring that architectural decisions meet both business and technical requirements.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance during design reviews to ensure that solutions meet security, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD practices to streamline deployment, testing, and monitoring.
• Write and maintain data tests to ensure the quality and reliability of data infrastructure.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide feedback and conduct performance evaluations, helping team members grow in their careers.

👉 What you will need:

• Strong experience designing and implementing data solutions in Snowflake.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams, offering mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Expertise in dbt for model creation, management, and parameterization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, including data migration, optimization, and query performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience working with data warehouses, ensuring efficient ETL processes, managing large datasets, and optimizing data storage and retrieval for analytics.
• Advanced understanding of data flow concepts and data modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and their integration into data engineering workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Bash or Python for scripting, automation, and process orchestration.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and motivating teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and adapt to changing project needs.
• Experience in providing technical leadership and architectural guidance during projects.

💡Nice to have:

• Familiarity with GraphQL API and its integration in data systems.
• Experience with Collibra or Alation for data governance and cataloging.
• Knowledge of Data Quality processes, including testing, scoring, and the importance of data reliability
