We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who will support our global customers, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry, in building innovative data products and services. We’re looking for a team-player who can also work independently and is willing to take the initiative. Your role will incorporate elements of Business Analyst, Data Analyst and Analytics Engineer functions.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering, managing and confirming business requirements for the reporting/analytical software under development
- Managing communication with business stakeholders and a Scrum Team
- Actively participating, and sometimes, leading meetings (e.g., clarifying business requirements, discussing the design, presenting outcomes)
- Performing preliminary analysis of data and the relationships within in, and preparing analytical sql scripts for integrating new data sources or modifying existing integrations
- Preparing test cases for the solutions being implemented, and supporting end users with data validation and/or report testing
- Writing analytical documentation for end users (technical and business)
- Troubleshooting, problem solving, and discovering dependencies in data
- Creating presentations/documentation presenting the results of data analyses and/or proposed solutions to encountered problems
- Creating internal and external training materials
- Working closely with our clients to build the mutual trust and become a trusted advisor
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Good command of SQL (You are familiar with window functions)
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels (while managing business requirements)
- Clear presentation of conclusions and outcomes of your analysis
- Very good command of English
- Critical thinking – challenging ideas, suggesting improvements and looking for areas to grow
Nice to have:
- Experience in project management (e.g., time-/ scope-/, team-/, budget-/ management)
- Experience in collaborating with / or working at large global companies
- Experience working in agile methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban)
- Practice with dbt, JIRA, Excel, python, GitHub, Tableau, Power BI, Confluence, Alation
