System & Component Degradation Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Component degradation (CODEG) testing (Complex system ASIL relevant), ASIL decomposition
• Design Fails Safe detection and reaction mechanism
• Develop and verify AUTOSAR and MISRA compliant software in accordance with software design specifications
• Basic software module integration and configuration
• Lead root cause investigation of software issues that arise from customer and internal bench and vehicle testing
• Adhere to corporate software process and quality standards and best practices for software development; comply with ASPICE software process and quality requirements; maintain software quality documentation as required
• Create or adapt functional safety concepts
• Support HIL & vehicle-level development and testing 
• Comply with ASPICE software process and quality requirements; maintain software quality documentation as required
• Implementation of the ISO 26262 and SE / Automotive Process
• Optional participation in 4 weeks training in BWI Technical Center in France, China or US 

Qualifications Required (R) or Preferred (P):

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering / software engineering / computer science or equivalent (R)
• 2 years of experience at position of Components Degradation expert for ASIL related complex systems (R)
• 2 years of experience in performing Safety testing (fault injection) (R)
• ISO 26262 ASIL Decomposition and Functional Safety requirements, experience with ASPICE and MISRA standard (R)
• Experience and/or interest in embedded control system development, Model Base design, Rapid Proto, embedded code (R)
• Understanding of AUTOSAR standard and experience automotive system developing AUTOSAR compliant (Automotive) (R)
• Experience with software development and analysis tools for real-time embedded control systems including Vector DaVinci Developer, Electrobit Tresos, Lauterbach Trace 32 Debugger, Tasking Compiler, etc. (R)
• Good knowledge on Advanced Algorithm Development and C, C++ programming and compiling (R)
• 2 years experiences in Developing Algorithm and in Embedded SW Integration Automotive (R)
• Experience with software requirements management, software configuration management and product lifecycle management tools (e.g., Windchill) (P)
• Understanding of the operation of automotive microcontrollers (P)
• Experience with MIL/SIL/HIL testing as well as in SIL synthesis (P)
• Experience Vehicle Control Functions and systems (P)
