Job description:
We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer who is proactive, self-sufficient, and excels in collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale, token-based design systems and will actively contribute to the development and evolution of our UI components and patterns.
Key responsibilities:
Design System Expertise: Prior experience working on similar large-scale, token-based design systems with a multibrand approach.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multiple product teams to lead the development and evolution of UI components and patterns, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with overall product experience.
Design Advocacy: Champion design excellence within the Customer Experience (CX) organization. Actively guide and support product teams to utilize the right components and patterns, fostering a culture of design quality.
Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Figma and Tokens Studio, utilizing these tools to create, maintain, and evolve our design system and product efficiently.
Component Management: Work alongside product designers across the organization to understand component needs, manage dependencies, and prioritize design efforts to meet business goals.
Product Experience Enhancement: Use design system components to build and enhance product experiences, ensuring they are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with business objectives.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary frontend development teams to ensure design and development efforts are aligned and executed seamlessly.
Conceptualization and Prototyping: Create innovative concepts, detailed prototypes, and polished UI designs that address user needs and business goals.
User Research and Testing: Conduct qualitative user tests and A/B tests to gather actionable insights and validate design decisions, continuously improving the user experience.
Ecommerce Expertise: Previous ecommerce experience with focus on enhancing the customer journey
Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, confidently presenting designs and articulating design rationale to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
3+ experience as UX/UI Product Designer
Proven experience working on large-scale, token-based design systems
Proficiency with Figma and Tokens Studio
Strong collaborative skills and ability to lead design initiatives across teams
Experience in user research and applying findings to improve designs
Excellent communication skills in English
Understanding of designing for multiple touchpoints and brands
Proactivity in proposing new solutions
Experience with multi-brand design systems and scalable component libraries
Advanced Figma skills, including components, variants, prototyping, and libraries
Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React, etc.) for seamless collaboration with developers is very welcome.
Applying structured and systemised design approaches
Previous experience in ecommerce non mandatory, but highly welcome
