Join us as a Test Automation Architect
As a Test Automation Architect/ Test team leader, you will join Data Transformation Team to work as a liaison with the internal business/systems areas and Testing Center of Excellence to help ensure the current test automation standards are deployed and achieved, and industry standards are followed within the envisioned solution. You will be coach and guide more junior staff on regular basis and share knowledge with other team members as well as BBH QM community. In addition, you will be responsible to coordinate work between test team and development teams.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Assist in creating test strategy & test plans for all the projects involved in using standards and methodologies defined by the organization.
- Develop technical & functional expertise of application under test to use optimal approach in testing.
- Identify custom tools that could be created to help boost productivity of testing.
- Participate in test strategy, effort estimation and planning discussion.
- Document and report test results and assist with defect management in a way that is business readable and is clear about test coverage/risks/etc.
- Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
- Implement, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks.
- Actively work with development and infrastructure teams for integrating test automation as an integral part of Continuous Integration pipeline.
- Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation cross the team.
- Pro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution and automation.
- Evaluate, select, and formulate best usage of test automation tools for different purposes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hands-on test automation experience, in a professional software development environment.
- Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD etc.) and technology stacks (Java, JavaScript etc.);
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation.
- Deep practical experience with tools for Web, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, , TestNG, JUnit, maven etc.);
- Experienced in performance and load testing (Gatling, JMeter, NeoLoad);
- Practical knowledge of Development Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe);
- Familiarity with common development and testing tools as IntelliJ, Git, Stash, , JIRA, Jenkins, qTest (or any other test management tool).
Additional skills will be in plus:
- Great communication skills to build good working relations with stakeholders and the team.
- Open to work in diverse environment with distributed teams
- Understanding of Project Management needs to communicate effectively.
- Focus on team cooperation, open to new ideas and experience with transformation of existing automated test into new approach/framework.
