Brown Brothers Harriman is looking for a Systems Programmer Analyst to join Security Master File Systems Team. In this role you will be a part of a global product-oriented team. You will be working on enhancing applications from Security Master File portfolio, including vendor Security Master platform hosted internally, being a critical system obtaining market data from external suppliers and providing these to internal systems for downstream processing. You will get a chance to propose solutions and have real influence on the project. You will cooperate closely with analysts and end users, and be engaged in each phase of the Systems Development Lifecycle to deliver high-quality solutions in response to business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with a development team on ongoing projects related to Security Master platform; defining new processes and functionalities within vendor application API (PL/SQL development, process workflow development, XML configuration)
- Taking part in all software life cycle, including involvement in requirement/current state analysis, design, development, testing support, deployment preparation and execution process, maintenance
- Ensures best practices are followed from a technical perspective during all phases of the project
- Work closely with analysts, business users, other developers, infrastructure teams and external vendor to provide efficient solutions which meet business needs
- Creating technical documentation
- Collaborate with Application Production Support team to provide L3 support and help troubleshooting production environment
Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years

Requirements:
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with tools like GIT, JIRA, Confluence, qTest, Jenkins
- 1-2 years of experience in IT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and understand existing logic of vendor software and propose solutions
- Focus on looking for best solutions, considering design from future maintenance perspective
- Ability to work well under timelines and project plans
- Good communication and organizational skills
