Junior Java Developer

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting for a talented Junior Java Developer to join Data Platform (Info data Fabric) team in Krakow who is looking to grow technical and software development skills. BBH’s Data platform serves as the foundation for a key set of offerings running on modern and traditional data processing technologies.

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ years of hands-on Java development experience (own projects and git repository are also acceptable)
• Good knowledge of Java
• Experience with Spring Framework
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL
• Good command of English
• Experience in Angular is a plus
• Knowledge of Linux commands and scripting.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks would be an asset

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

• Core Java development and Web applications with Spring and Angular
• Participate with requirements analysis
• Work with deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
• Debugging and existing application support
• Working in distributed teams with using Agile Frameworks (Kanban/Scrum)
