The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime.

Our expectations:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of higher education
ISTQB Advanced certification or 3 years of experience in test management
Minimum of 5 years of IT-related professional experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation
Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans
Hands-on experience with coding in one of languages - Python, Java Script, Type Script, VBS
Hands-on experience with Test Automation using Playwright or Selenium or Cypress
Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries
Expertise in software testing, including (Unit testing, Integration testing, Functional testing, Performance and stress testing, Acceptance testing, Regression testing)
Expertise in designing test environments for complex systems
Experience setting up test management tools for new projects
Experience in producing test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test execution reports, and defect logs
Experience leading testing activities in complex IT projects
Practical knowledge of commonly used testing tools
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly
Excellent communication and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Solid knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and their integration with QA practices
Proficiency in English (certification is an advantage)
Key tasks:
Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities
Develops test plan, test cases and designs testing environment
Implements, executes and debugs application test cases and scripts
Validate and document completion of testing and Development
Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
Analyses functional and technical system design for testability
Contributes to quality assurance in the project
Documents tests and tracks defects
Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system and reports on status and trends
Cooperates with analysis, architects Software Development and service desk teams
