Junior Manual Tester (lottery)

We are looking for a motivated Junior Manual Tester to join a project delivered for an international client in the lottery industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their QA journey who wants to grow, learn from experienced professionals, and gain hands-on exposure to the modern technologies and international project standards.

Our expectations

• At least 2+ years of experience in Software QA/Manual Testing.

• Good understanding of software testing fundamentals (Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT testing).

• Experience with manual testing, test case creation, and execution.

• Good knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL for data validation.

• Experience with JIRA or similar ALM tools for defect management and reporting.

• Good English skills (minimum B2) – used daily in an international environment.

• Ability to work in a collaborative Agile/Scrum team.

• Openness for hybrid work from office in Warsaw (2-3 days a week in the office).

Welcome Skills

• API testing (Postman, Swagger)

• An ISTQB Foundation Level certification.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of Kafka or event-driven/microservices architecture.

• Prior experience or interest in the Gaming/iGaming industry.

Key tasks

• Design and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.

• Test REST APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.

• Validate data and backend behavior using SQL queries.

• Identify, report, and track bugs in JIRA (defect management).

• Collaborate closely with developers.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies.

• Contribute to improving QA processes and documentation for the lottery project.
