Java Developer (transport)

Join our team and help build a modern, user-centric public transport app for the German market. Your work will directly improve the daily commute for numerous people.

Our expectations:

• At least 5 years of experience with Java and Java-based technologies - especially Spring Boot.

• Experience with Kubernetes and in DevOps with setting up CI and CD pipelines in at least one project

• Experience with cloud infrastructure in at least one project.

• Experience in at least one project in the field of public transport, fare management or ticketing within the last three years.

• Experience in setting up digital distribution systems (e.g. online shop)

• Collaboration on at least one project with complex architecture, e.g. multiple microservices with at least three interfaces to third-party or peripheral systems or distributed components.

• Experience in testing software with Cypress

• Experience with messaging system/events

• Practical experience in agile methods through active participation in at least two projects using Scrum or Kanban.

• Formal qualification in computer science, business informatics or comparable IT-related training/studies.

• Good command of German and English language (C1 level)
