Data Engineer (Snowflake & DBT)

About the role

The projects concern the cloud migration of the financial accounting system serving multiple markets.

Our expectations

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Data Engineer

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT

• Strong knowledge of data engineering, data modeling, and database management

• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on experience working on complex projects involving financial reporting

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Passion for creating innovative solutions to improve data analysis and reporting

• Proactive communication and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience in migrating systems from on-premises to the cloud

• Experience in teamwork and leading project teams

Main responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient solutions using Snowflake and DBT

• Build and enhance data models and data processing pipelines to support financial reporting

• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes to ensure smooth code integration and deployment

• Participate in the migration of financial systems from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud

• Solve complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions to improve data analysis

• Work within project teams, with the potential to take on a technical leadership role

• Document technical solutions and data engineering best practices

• Monitor and optimize the performance and reliability of data processing systems
