Cloud DevOps Engineer (lottery industry)
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our multi-cloud infrastructure. You will work primarily with Azure and AWS, supporting mission-critical cloud environments with a strong focus on scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Our expectations
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
Extensive experience in with Azure and AWS cloud services.
Strong experience running AKS and EKS clusters in production environments.
Advanced Terraform skills, including module development, state management, and best practices.
Experience building and managing IaC pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Solid scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, cost management, and cloud architecture principles.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented in delivering high-quality solutions.
Knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2.
Welcome Skills
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of serverless technologies, such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
Familiarity with service mesh architectures (Istio, Linkerd).
Certifications related to cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes (e.g., AWS, Azure, CKA).
Key tasks
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-cloud environments.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including complex module structures and state management.
Build, maintain, and optimize AKS and EKS clusters used for production-grade containerized workloads.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud services across multiple platforms.
Ensure strong observability and monitoring using tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and Prometheus.
Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including network security, identity management, and compliance controls.
Create and maintain clear and detailed documentation for infrastructure, standards, and operational procedures.
Collaborate closely with cloud platform, security, and application teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business needs and architectural guidelines.
