We are offering a hybrid role, with visits to Warsaw office and on the basis of full-time job contract.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you drive the transformation of complex data into actionable insights, shaping scalable, secure solutions.

Your contribution:

• You will design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines that can handle large amounts of data

• You will build big data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, and more

• You will develop and maintain Azure Data Factory workflows, data transformations, and visualizations

• You will collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements

• You will implement and enforce data security and privacy policies, ensuring sensitive data is protected and compliant with regulations

• You will evaluate new Azure data solutions and tools to continuously improve the data architecture and infrastructure

• You will troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to the data engineering team

• You will mentor junior data engineers

You will fit well to our squad if: 

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably using Microsoft Azure Services including Data Factory and Databricks

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a similar field

• You are experienced in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data warehousing systems such as data lakes and data marts

• You have strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases

• You collaborate effectively with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

• You implement and enforce data security and privacy policies to protect sensitive data

• You evaluate and recommend new data tools and technologies to improve architecture and infrastructure

• You have strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with fluency in English

• You have experience in retail or luxury sectors
