Cloud Backend Engineer / DevOps

Our main games from the BoomBit Group include Hunt Royale, Darts Club and Ramp Car Jumping. We're a game developer and a publisher, with over 250 creative people working together. We cover games of nearly every genre in the free-to-play (F2P) model on iOS and Android, and also on the Nintendo Switch.

We have experts spread across publishing, user interface/experience (UI/UX), game design, monetization, user acquisition (UA), creatives, business intelligence (BI), quality assurance (QA), LiveOps, programming, art and game development. We are continually looking to strengthen our team.

We are looking for a new team member to join us in building Business Intelligence tools for the mobile gaming industry. Our solutions help optimize performance, streamline data flows, and support decision-making processes across the company.

Location: hybrid / remote

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing backend infrastructure of applications on Google Cloud

• Designing, optimizing, and maintaining ETL processes

• Writing tests and code documentation

• Designing and implementing APIs

• Collaborating with development and product teams on product growth

Requirements:

• Experience (3+ years)  in DevOps, Cloud Engineer or similar role

• Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD processes (BitBucket / GitHub)

• Extensive experience working with wide range of services whithin Google Cloud

• Platform, including Cloud Run and Pub/Sub 

• Strong proficiency in Python

• Experience with Docker

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery)

• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code

• Experience working in a microservices-oriented environment

• Experience working with task queue systems, such as Celery, Airflow
