Job description
Booksy is looking for a talented IT Business Analyst to join the product team and help shape unique, user-centric software and experiences. At Booksy we work on mobile and desktop-based apps that thousands of our clients use every day. Your responsibilities:
- Developing a thorough understanding of the whole Booksy apps ecosystem (Client and Business apps, web and mobile);
- working closely with Product Owners, the UX team and other stakeholders to elicit and document our clients’ requirements;
- drawing conclusions and suggesting changes in existing IT systems;
- creating new as well as revising and maintaining existing software specifications and other documentation;
- supporting Product Owners, the UX team and other stakeholders in the decision-making process related to product design and development;
- diagnosing differences between specifications and implementation;
- seeking opportunities for the development of the IT BA and documentation area in Booksy;
- other related ad hoc tasks.
Our expectations:
- Experience in IT business analysis;
- ability to analyze and describe complex problems and processes;
- knowledge of IT analysis tools, techniques, methods and best practices;
- working knowledge of UML;
- exceptional conceptual thinking skills;
- extremely high attention to detail;
- great teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills;
- full professional knowledge of English;
- ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences;
- ability to check all documentation types (requirements, specifications, user docs, UI copy etc.) for consistency and accuracy;
- multitasking and proactive approach;
- ability to work under pressure and timely implementation of tasks;
- willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of / experience / interest in the hair & beauty industry would be a strong asset!
- knowledge of marketplace, SaaS, POS software solutions;
- BPMN;
- SQL;
- Jira, Confluence.
