FE Software Engineer (hybrid, 3 days from the office)

The Frontend Engineer owns the design, reliability, performance, and evolution of frontend systems that power the Voltana energy management platform. The role ensures that frontend services meet functional and non-functional requirements, operate reliably in production, and continuously improve in usability, performance, and maintainability as the platform evolves.

The Frontend Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality user experiences for complex energy systems while ensuring frontend applications are robust, operable, and aligned with the broader platform architecture.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate frontend applications that support core product workflows and user interactions with energy systems.

• Drive the platform's user experience, ensuring the best possible user interaction across devices, workflows, and usage contexts.

• Contribute actively to system and application architecture, especially where frontend decisions impact backend or platform behavior.

• Apply engineering best practices, including effective use of AI-assisted development, to improve quality and efficiency.

Our requirements

• Experience: 4+ years in Software Engineering using TypeScript and JavaScript, NextJS, CSS, and integrations.

• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

• Energy Domain Expertise: Prior experience in the Energy domain is a plus.

• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems and code issues.
