    Job Description:


    BMC is looking for innovative customer champions to join our unique and enthusiastic Technical Support Team helping businesses across the globe to run and reinvent. As a Junior Technical Support Analyst, you will provide customer technical support, communicate with customers and R&D to troubleshoot issues, isolate root cause, and deliver solutions or implement workarounds. The highly technical nature of our products requires an individual with a solid foundation of technical skills and an aptitude for understanding complex technical concepts.


    Responsibilities:


    • Be the Hero: Provide exceptional technical support via email, web, and phone, becoming the go-to person for our customers' technical needs.
    • Solve Complex Puzzles: Troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues, ensuring our customers can rely on our products without a hitch.
    • Document Your Journey: Keep detailed records of all interactions, from the initial report of an issue through troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
    • Hands-On Experience: Install, configure, and provide feedback on software products, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology.
    • Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with Product Management and R&D to escalate issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.


    Required Skills:

    • 3-5 years of experience in a Mainframe environment with z/OS Db2 database administration and/or system programming alongside knowledge in at least one of AMI Cloud, Compuware Upstream, Storage, Db2, DevX (ISPW), Ops and CICS.
    • Good understanding of the software development life cycle and methodology.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Excellent communication skills in English.
