the Solution Architect is responsible for developing and optimising the Integration solution design to meet the agreed company and specific business requirements;
the role involves solution architecture development, technical planning, high level systems project definition, identification of key technical and non-functional requirements and constraints, high level cross-project design and technical liaison with other teams including the Development Team;
the Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing the development of the technical & non-functional requirements elicitation done by the Development Team and assurance of project designs against the solution architecture.
Core Responsibilities:
defining the solution roadmap, and supporting scoping and technical planning in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture;
lead the rationalisation of integration technologies to deliver a best-in-class integration framework;
defining and maintaining the solution architecture and design to enable successful project delivery and meet agreed business requirements;
communicate and consult with clients and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions, providing supervision and guidance to the development teams
working with the Business Analysts and the Business or IT Domains to understand the business IT and user requirements;
continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes, where needed;
overseeing the detailed creating of the technical and non-functional requirements by the Development Team either internally or managing externally the suppliers with the use of architecture boards;
contribute to the definition of process and procedures to provide guidance on the implementation, timelines and costs;
