Position Overview:
As a Senior Developer on the Integration team, you'll lead the charge in designing, creating, and maintaining seamless integrations between systems, whether it's business-to-business or application-to-application. Your expertise will transform intricate technical details into practical, real-world solutions, making complex concepts both accessible and actionable. You will have chance to collaborate closely with multiple application teams, playing a crucial role in the end-to-end process to ensure efficiency, reliability, and alignment with Blue Water's needs.
Strong backend development skills are a must-have.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop .NET applications in C# on Azure Cloud
Take ownership of Team’s tech stack
Integrate with existing systems using modern cloud services (e.g. RESTful APIs, Message Queues, microservices).
Manage version control and automate deployment processes.
Troubleshoot integration issues.
Collaborate with application teams in an Agile environment.
Guide and inspire colleagues through mentorship and engaging in dynamic problem-solving sessions.
Your background
At least 6-7 years of experience in .NET Development. You are proficient in utilizing the .NET Core framework to build robust and customized Azure Cloud applications.
At least 3 years of professional experience with Azure Cloud services, building cloud-native solutions using Azure services: Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and Service Bus to name a few.
Version Control and DevOps: experienced with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. You know how a mature software development life cycle should look like. You know how to write infrastructure code.
Integration Technologies and Patterns: Experienced in working with various integration technologies, including RESTful APIs, Microservices, Message Queues.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve integration issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation of integrated systems.
Leading development: you influence, lead and take responsibility for technological aspects of software development in the Team.
Self-motivation, Autonomy: You know how to find solutions to complex problems without additional oversight. You have a strong drive and initiative to take charge before others do. You have good self-management skills.
Collaborative Team Player: Effective communicator and team player, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and stakeholders, to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business objectives.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, delivering iterative solutions, and adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
Engineer or Master's degree in an IT related field or equivalent IT experience.

Practical Details
Blue Water Shipping is headquartered in Esbjerg Denmark and our IT development teams are in Esbjerg and Gdansk. The primary location for this role is the Blue Water Shipping’s office in Gdansk, Poland. There might be occasional travel to Esbjerg in Denmark or Warsaw.
