We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join us for a high-impact SaaS developer platform project (freelance, ~1 month). This is a hands-on role for someone who can onboard quickly, understand complex technical products, and elevate key developer journeys.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product / UX / UI Designer (SaaS or developer tools preferred),

• Strong expertise in design systems, interaction design, and UI craft,

• High fluency in Figma (ability to produce multiple solution variants quickly),

• Experience working closely with engineering teams (Jira or similar tools),

• Ability to operate autonomously, prioritise effectively, and deliver in ambiguous environments,

• Experience using product analytics (e.g. Mixpanel) to inform design decisions,

• Ability to interpret usage data and logs (e.g. ElasticSearch dashboards) to identify UX gaps,

• Strong understanding of technical constraints and translating them into usable interfaces,

• English at least C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Voice AI, speech tech, or API-driven platforms,

• Experience designing developer-facing products or platforms.

Scope of responsibilities

• Redesign and optimise core developer user journeys across the platform,

• Audit existing UX and identify friction points for technical users,

• Create intuitive, scalable solutions for complex API and configuration workflows,

• Rapid prototyping and iterative validation of design concepts,

• Reduce design debt and propose pragmatic UX/UI improvements,

• Apply and extend the design system with new components where needed,

• Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure high-fidelity implementation,

• Contribute to design strategy, frameworks, and quality metrics,

• Use analytics and usage data to validate impact and guide prioritisation.
